2-Day Motorcycle Tour: LA – Big Bear – Joshua Tree – LA | Lakes, Bars, and Desert Adventure
An action-packed 2-day motorcycle journey from Los Angeles through the mountains, into the desert, and back. Over the course of two days, we’ll ride through winding mountain roads with lakes, descend into the desert, and return, all while enjoying breathtaking views. We’ll take a stroll by alpine lakes, stop at atmospheric bars in Big Bear, and wrap up the tour in the unique Joshua Tree Desert.
Day 1:
We’ll kick off the ride from Los Angeles in the morning. On the way, we’ll hit scenic roads in San Bernardino, including the iconic State Route 18 (also known as the Rim of the World Scenic Byway). We’ll stop for lunch in the charming town of Lake Arrowhead with views of the lake. Afterward, we’ll head up to Big Bear, where you’ll have time to explore the lake, unwind, and enjoy drinks at a local bar with a laid-back vibe.
Overnight stay in Big Bear is fully customizable — whether you prefer a cozy budget motel, a comfortable cabin or villa, or the adventure of camping under the stars at a local campsite, the choice is yours. We’ll help you find the option that best fits your style and budget.
Day 2:
After breakfast, we’ll take the southern route down to Joshua Tree National Park. We’ll make stops at key spots for photos, enjoy short walks in the desert, and take in the stunning landscapes. The day will end with a return ride to Los Angeles, catching the sunset along the way.
