Great scenic winding roads through western Connecticut through the Hudson River Valley into the Catskill mountains. You will stop at Slide Mountain the highest point in the Catskill Mountains and witness incredible views. Then we will head northeast to the heart of the Berkshires and ride south in the Berkshires back towards our start point.
This trip is entirely on well maintained state and local roads. No highway. We will be spending a lot of time along rivers and a lot of elevation changes as we ride along this scenic route. We will make stops along the way to take in the scenery, to enjoy a great lunch or to take in any of the local events you are interested in. This will be approximately an 8 hour trip. 6 hours of riding about 260 miles and a couple hours enjoying lunch and scenic stops.
