Pacific Northwest — 8-Day Self-Guided Motorcycle Tour

Ride a 1,100-mile loop from Seattle through eastern Washington and British Columbia, visiting Spokane, the Okanagan Valley, Kamloops, Vancouver, and the mountain-and-coastal roads connecting them. The tour includes five riding days, seven nights, and a full exploration day in Vancouver.

Begin in Seattle with time to explore the downtown waterfront, markets, museums, and neighborhoods. The first riding day covers approximately 300 miles east to Spokane. Cross Snoqualmie Pass and the Cascade Range, continue through the Ellensburg area, and finish in Washington’s second-largest city.

Day 3 runs roughly 280 miles from Spokane into Canada. The written route follows Highway 395 through Chewelah and Colville, crosses the border, and continues through Grand Forks and Osoyoos before reaching Kelowna. The Okanagan Valley’s dry climate, hills, orchards, vineyards, and lake scenery provide a major contrast to western Washington.

The next day is a relaxed 110-mile ride along the Okanagan Lake corridor to Kamloops. Day 5 then covers approximately 265 miles to Vancouver. The itinerary highlights Ashcroft and the Sea to Sky Highway through Whistler, Squamish, mountain lakes, and coastal rainforest before the road reaches Vancouver.

Spend a full day exploring Vancouver, then ride approximately 145 miles south across the border to Seattle. The final stage passes through the Fraser Valley and western Washington before the loop concludes where it began.

The booklet advises riders to prepare for temperatures around 50–80°F, pack layers and rain gear, download offline maps, fuel before remote stretches, and reserve popular lodging in advance.

The route is structured as a broad international loop rather than an out-and-back ride. The outbound section crosses Washington’s Cascade interior and reaches the dry Okanagan landscape; the return approaches Vancouver through British Columbia’s mountains before following the coastal corridor south to Seattle. Daily distances range from 110 to 300 miles, and the Vancouver rest day creates time to explore the city without moving the motorcycle. Riders should allow additional time at both international border crossings.

This is a self-guided tour with no fixed group schedule. Booking the Experience includes a detailed tour booklet with the complete itinerary, daily mileage, route guidance, recommended dining and lodging, rider tips, and Google Maps links.
