This ride is awesome for a small group of 4 to 12 bikes (if you have a 2nd on your ride they are welcome too on the same fee). The ride start time may vary and depend upon and be subject to the Parks requirement to pre-purchase a time entry ticket into the park. (See the Red Rock Canyon Web Link below for more information).
This ride will begin at the IN & OUT Restaurant parking lot at Interstate 15 at Dean Martin Dr. and Tropicana (West-side of the Interstate you can see the huge sign from the freeway). Upon leaving the start location we will make our way toward Downtown Summerlin (a Las Vegas' premiere upscale shopping and dinning experience), the Las Vegas Ballpark (home of the Las Vegas Aviators AAA-baseball team), City National Area (practice ice arena for the Vegas Golden Knights NHL Team) and Red Rock Resort and Casino (one of the premier off-the-strip destinations in Las Vegas and the Gateway to the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area.
Within 10min. after crossing Interstate 215 and the Red Rock Casino we'll arrive at the entrance of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The Canyon has a 13mi one way loop that we'll ride and make 3-4 stops (3 of the stops of 30min max, 1 15min max) will offer the opportunity to explore with a short hike, observe climbers (beginner to expert), eat, drink, restroom and etc...
Stops: 1) Information Center (30min) - store, museum, facilities. 2) The Red Rock (30min)- observe beginner climbers, explore and climb yourself, photo opportunity. 3) Red Rock Canyon Overlook (15min) - Photo opportunity, eat, drink, etc...4. Red Canyon (30min) - Hike, observe high level climbers, 5) The Falls - (optional stop) depends on the season if water is flowing in the falls (will add 45 to 60 min round trip)
Upon leaving the park we'll head toward the small village of Blue Diamond (10min ride). This small oasis village has a very small creek running through the village and a seasonal/biker stop to take a break have a refreshing beverage and just hangout with other riders. This village is also a kickoff place for several hike and mountain bike trails (30 min if open, if not drive thru village).
Our last leg will take us down Blue Diamond Rd. ending at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner as well as visit Bass Pro Shop and another off-the-strip premiere casino the Silverton Casino & Resort (arrival to this location will terminate the ride... but everyone is encouraged to hangout and socialize for as long as they'd like.
