Known as one of the engineering wonders of the world the Hoover Dam and the recently constructed cross canyon expansion bridge Pat Tillman / Mike O'Callaghan Memorial Bridge are wonders not to miss... They are amazing, breathtaking and jaw dropping.
The ride starts at the In & Out Burger located just off the Interstate 15 at Dean Martin Dr. and Tropicana (the restaurant is just off the interstate on the West-side) The IN & Out sign is huge and can be seen from both directions on the freeway.
From the starting point well will head south on the I-15 then East on the I-215 then south on the Hwy 93. We'll make 5 stops on this adventure.

From this stop there is also a trailhead that allows to to walk below Stop #2 which contains several railroad tunnels utilized by the trains coming from Las Vegas bringing workers and supplies daily during the dam's construction in the 1930's. (we'll discuss the stop time 45-60min). 4) Hoover Dam - We'll ride across the dam and park on the Arizona side (there is a parking structure on the Nevada side for a fee Arizona side is free). You'll have time to walk the dam, and see all the sights (WWII gun emplacement, Dam, Bridge and lake). There is 45-60min dam tour you can book on location (seasonal and limited space first come). On the Nevada side there is food venue attached to the parking structure. (we'll discuss leave time 45-90min)
For our final stop we'll ride back to Historical Boulder City and stop at a local eatery to relax and enjoy this rejuvenated City Strip with each other. This will conclude our ride. Boulder Casino and The "Dam" Casino are just a few mile in opposite directions if you'd like to press your luck and see some of what Old Las Vegas may have looked like.
