Tour Schedule:
- Riding from mid May through early October.
- Meet at 8:15 AM in Golden, kickstands up at 9:00 AM after a brief equipment check.
- Lunch is between 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM depending on weather and rider pace.
- The tour route is 100+ miles long and will take approximately 6-7 hours depending rider pace and scenic stops.
Tour Details:
Embark on a thrilling one-day scenic adventure motorcycle tour through some of the most spectacular landscapes in Denver’s north front-range. This tour runs north or south between Boulder and Central City dropping down to 6,000 at the lowest point and up to over 10,000 at the highest point. This scenic tour route is just over 100 miles long and best suited for Intermediate adventure bike riders. We’ll explore twisting paved and unpaved back roads favored by locals, making it an ideal choice for those who seek a casual and scenic day exploring the best adventure routes in the north urban front-range.
How to Book:
- This tour is offered at your request from mid May through early October. Please message us to check availability or request a date through the booking tool.
- Rider registration is required at solidride.com before you arrive at the tour. We will message you the link to register after booking your tour at Riders Share.
What’s Included:
- This experience includes a professional tour guide and lunch. It does NOT include a motorcycle rental or insurance.
- You can rent a bike from Riders Share or a local shop in Denver or Boulder and meet us at the start location.
- A satellite navigation device is recommended but not required as we will be sticking together as a group throughout the ride.
What to Expect:
- We ride rain or shine. Please be prepared for all types of weather conditions from hot to warm to chilly and wet.
- Some sections of the route may include off-road terrain due to a lack of government maintenance (potholes, ruts, chunky gravel, uneven, bumps, puddles, ect...).
- Please arrive with a full tank of gas. We will provide directions to the closest gas station by the start location so you can fill up. We will stop for fuel as needed later in the ride.
Booking Prerequisites
- A registered street-legal adventure or dual sport motorcycle setup for off-road riding with DOT dual sport tires is required. Due to the elevation changes on this tour, electronic fuel injection or smart carburetor is required.
Rider Documents:
- All riders are required to hold valid and active license with motorcycle endorsement.
- All riders are required to hold a valid personal medical insurance policy.
- All riders are required to have the minimum state required vehicle liability insurance (your own policy or purchased through the rental company)
- All riders must have a valid vehicle registration card or rental agreement.
