Behold a lightweight, stealth electric supermoto! Easy-to-ride, 1-speed automatic up to 75+ mph (no clutch). This electric shredder does require a motorcycle endorsement to rent.

Best uses: city riding/exploring, commuting, meeting up with friends, trips to the store, long-term demo for prospective electric moto enthusiasts

Tips for a successful 2-day rental: Plan ahead where you will be charging; pick-up and ride Friday night, charge overnight, ride Saturday morning, charge up during lunch, ride Saturday late-afternoon/evening, charge overnight, repeat on Sunday, return rental Sunday evening...

Pros:

• Easy-to-ride "automatic" -- NO clutch needed!
• Less than 300lbs
• Recharge on regular 120 volt A/C wall outlet
• Take it indoors for secure overnight charging
• Belt-driven! -- so NO chain whip
• Super quick off the line
• Quasi-dirt bike suspension: ride over bumps, potholes and curbs with ease :-)
• NO warm-up required, just turn on & GOOOOOO!
• Cheap to recharge!
• No petrol required!
• Doesn't smell like exhaust fumes. Yay!
• It's very QUIET!
• Bosch ABS braking system
• Eco & Sport riding modes
• Never worry about parking!

Cons:

• RANGE is highly dependent on speed & riding style; it varies between 50 - 100 miles (this is based on my 1-up riding on this bike)--AVOID freeways for best range!!! If you're riding in Portland's urban core you'll get closer to 100 miles of range, but if you ride the freeway it'll be closer to 50 miles of range. For reference, I ride surface streets to work & back four times (8 miles each way) on a single charge.
• A full recharge is ~6+ hours.
• NO wind protection
• NO onboard USB charging
• NOT suitable for touring

INSURANCE: If you don't already have bike insurance...I've heard Riders-Share insurance can be expensive. You'll likely may be better off getting your own bike insurance and canceling the policy for a partial refund after the rental period. Try Foremost, Progressive, Geico, etc.

CHARGING: This bike requires only a regular wall power outlet for charging. Charging cable included in the rental.
