Gettysburg Bike Week 2026: Schedule, Events, and Rental Info
Jun 21, 2026

Few motorcycle rallies in the country let you ride the morning auto tour past Little Round Top and still be back at your seat in time for Black Stone Cherry that night. Gettysburg Bike Week 2026 does, and the 25th anniversary edition (July 9 through July 12 at The Barn Resort, with a free public kick-off party Wednesday, July 8) brings Molly Hatchet and Black Stone Cherry to the Saturday-night main stage, The Funeral Portrait Friday, and Doc Marten and The Flannels Thursday.
Pennsylvania's largest motorcycle rally has owned the second week of July since 2001, and the heritage shows up everywhere you look. The event is locally and family operated, veteran and women owned, with eight poker run stops at actual area businesses instead of corporate sponsors. Twenty-five years in, Gettysburg still pulls a heavy Harley and Indian crowd, and the silver anniversary is the year to make the trip if you haven't yet.

When Is Gettysburg Bike Week 2026?
Gettysburg Bike Week 2026 runs Thursday, July 9 through Sunday, July 12, with the free kick-off party opening the grounds Wednesday night, July 8. The Gettysburg bike week dates match the same mid-July weekend the rally has held for years, so if you've been before, the timing is exactly where you left it.
Where Is Gettysburg Bike Week Held?
Gettysburg Bike Week is held at The Barn Resort, a few minutes south of downtown Gettysburg at 75 Cunningham Road. The rally moved to The Barn in recent years after outgrowing its previous home, and the larger grounds gave the vendor village, the main stage, and the bike show area room to breathe.
Is Gettysburg Bike Week Free?
The Wednesday kick-off party on July 8 is free and open to the public. The four main rally days require a one-day, two-day, or three-day pass, with early bird pricing for online purchases before July 1.
How Much Does Gettysburg Bike Week Cost?
Gettysburg bike week tickets are sold only through the rally's official ticketing partner, and the organizer specifically calls out that tickets don’t sell out and don’t need to be purchased through resale platforms. If you're seeing markups on Vivid Seats or Expedia, you're paying more than you have to.

What Bands Are Playing at Gettysburg Bike Week 2026?

The 2026 lineup hits the southern rock and classic rock heart of the rally with a touch of modern theatrical rock thrown in. Four nights, four headliners, all included with your rally pass.
Doc Marten and The Flannels (Thursday, July 9)
A Pennsylvania-based '90s tribute band covering Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and the rest of the grunge and alt-rock canon. The right opening night for a crowd that came up in that era and still rides to it.
The Funeral Portrait (Friday, July 10)
Atlanta-based theatrical rock band that's spent the last two years climbing the modern rock circuit hard. They've been on the road with Palaye Royale and Black Veil Brides, and Friday night marks one of their biggest rally bookings to date.
Molly Hatchet and Black Stone Cherry (Saturday, July 11)
The Saturday-night double bill is the headliner moment of the weekend. Molly Hatchet has been on the road since 1978 and still has "Flirtin' with Disaster," "Whiskey Man," and "Bounty Hunter" in the set, which is exactly the energy the rally lot lives for. Black Stone Cherry follows with two decades of Kentucky hard rock and the kind of slow-burn arena songs that work in an open-air setting.
The rest of the 2026 lineup, including additional Friday and Saturday support acts, posts on the rally's events and entertainment page as more acts are announced.
Vendors and Entertainment at Gettysburg Bike Week 2026
The Gettysburg bike week vendors fill the vendor village at The Barn Resort with motorcycle gear, custom leather, parts and accessories, helmets, sunglasses, patches, jewelry, custom paint, and a long row of food and drink tents pouring Miller, Coors, and Twisted Tea products all weekend. The move to The Barn gave the layout more usable space and an easier walk than the old grounds, and the vendor area is one of the most-cited improvements from riders who've been coming for years.
Iron Goddess All-Female Bike Show (Friday)
Presented by Freeburn Motorcycle Attorneys, Iron Goddess is exclusive to Gettysburg Bike Week and built around women riders and women builders. The bikes in this show are some of the most original work on the grounds all weekend.
Globe of Death
The steel-cage stunt where multiple riders cross paths inside a sphere at full throttle. One of the longest-running signature acts at Gettysburg Bike Week, with multiple performances daily.
Iron & Ink Tattoo Contest (Saturday at 3:00 p.m.)
Saturday's tattoo contest runs in the expo with three categories: Best Black and Grey, Best Color, and Best Motorcycle-Themed. The expo features 30+ tattoo artists, piercers, hair bling experts, and tooth gem applicators across the weekend, with motorcycle and hot rod tattoo artist Darren McKeag among the names on the floor. The full artist roster and contest details are on the official Tattoo Expo page.
Bike Games
Slow riding, hot dog eating, and barrel racing on the rally grounds, sponsored by Abate of PA, Mason Dixon Chapter. Free to enter with appropriate gear and a signed waiver, and one of the most-watched events of the rally each year.
Parade of Chrome and the Jeremy Plank Memorial Ride
A group ride through Gettysburg honoring Jeremy Plank, a member of the rally community lost in a 2021 motorcycle accident. Riders wear neon teal in tribute, and the lineup location releases closer to the rally. Saturday afternoon, weather permitting.
Ride-In Bike Show, Stunt Shows, and Fireworks
Daily professional stunt performances on the main grounds, the Ride-In Bike Show, the swap meet, the antique motorcycle showcase, and the Saturday-night fireworks display all run alongside the main programming.
Gettysburg Bike Week Poker Runs
The rally's daily poker runs route through south-central PA, hitting eight stops across Adams and York counties. Pick up a card at each location, and the best hand at the end takes the prize. Even if you're not registered, the stops are all rider-friendly locations on their own.

Where to Ride Around Gettysburg During Bike Week

The riding around Gettysburg is half the reason this rally has lasted 25 years. South-central PA gives you historic battlefield roads, ridge runs through Michaux State Forest, and farmland loops that pull together a full half-day route from the rally grounds.
Gettysburg National Military Park Battlefield Route
- Distance & difficulty: ~24 miles | Easy
- The auto tour route through Gettysburg National Military Park is open to motorcycles, with low posted speeds and stops at Little Round Top, Devil's Den, the Wheatfield, and the High Water Mark. Early morning before the rally gates open is the quietest time to ride it, and it's the kind of ride that hits differently when you've just spent the night at a Civil War-era barn venue a few miles down the road.
South Mountain via PA-233
- Distance & difficulty: 30 to 50 miles depending on the loop | Easy to Moderate
- PA-233 climbs north out of Caledonia State Park into Michaux State Forest, with real elevation change, tree cover the whole way, and a network of backroads that connect across the ridge. The ride to take when you want to put actual miles on the bike instead of cruising the battlefield grid.
PA-30 West to Chambersburg
- Distance & difficulty: ~25 miles one way | Easy
- A run through farmland and small towns toward South Mountain Pass, with food and fuel stops along the way and a half-day loop that links back through Caledonia State Park.
Cashtown and Orrtanna Backroads
- Distance & difficulty: ~20 miles | Easy
- The country lanes northwest of Gettysburg through Adams County orchards, vineyards, and old crossroads villages. Perfect for a slower morning ride before the rally picks up, and a stretch of road most rally riders skip.
