Sample Itinerary - Five days of re-connection in the Black Hills and Big Horn Mountains. This multi-day trip starts from Denver CO area and heads directly to the South Dakota Black Hills. Over several days we’ll travel twisty roads, visit iconic stops, and take in some of the most beautiful landscapes in the North Central United States.
Highlights include three nights / two full days of riding the South Dakota Black Hills where we will establish a hub camp at the edge of a beautiful lake just a few miles from MT Rushmore in the heart of the Black Hills. We’ll have early morning 720 degree twisties on the Needles Highway, sweep our way through Custer State Park, and visit many of the famous towns and sites in the area.
Mid way through the week, we’ll head West to the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming for more twisties and epic views. As the sun rises to greet us, we’ll mount up and head for the famous Scenic By-ways and passes of the Big Horns and sprawling vistas of Wyoming. After a wonderful day of riding we’ll find a camp in the Wind River Canyon / Thermopolis Hot Springs area for a nice soak or relaxing campfire along the Big Horn river.
As we approach the end our moto therapy we’ll have time to reflect on the things we saw, the places we visited, and the friendship we experienced on last couple of days riding south towards the Denver metro area with folks breaking off as appropriate to make their way home.
