Curious about the Indian FTR? Here is your chance to rent one! This is a very clean (garage kept) and beautiful bike with that Indian flat track racer look. Understand, that this bike is a bit of a hooligan and has a loud exhaust note.

The Indian FTR is a rare bike for the islands, yet perfect for these roads. With it, you can slow island-cruise, weave when traffic gets heavy, or attack the twisties if you wish. This bike can literally do it all. It feels light and responsive with strong throttle response and engine braking. The Brembo brakes are excellent and can stop you on a dime if needed. The bike has three ride modes (rain, standard, sport) with lean-angle stability and ABS with cornering pre-control, and an easy to see 4.3 inch Ride Command LCD (glove touchable). You can switch rider modes on the fly, and choose the type of gages you want displayed – the display and controls are very intuitive. It has a USB port under the LCD screen and I can include a smart-phone holder for the handlebars if you wish to use your phone for maps. I will supply a disk lock for the bike, and have additional gear to include a tail bag and backpacks as well.

The stock tires have been replaced with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires which have great grip and feel in both dry and wet conditions – perfect for street riding on Oahu. These are new tires as of 11/24/2023. In addition, the bike sports a full Toce exhaust system. No hesitations or stalls, and it performs much better than the stock 87 ft-lbs torque and 120hp from the factory, and really comes alive at 4-5k rpm.

I’m located in Hawaii Kai, on the southeast corner of Oahu near the Hawaii Kai Golf Course. There is plenty of free and safe parking nearby if you drive out to pick up the bike.

— High Sierra hydration backpack. Not sure the size, but it is about 25L. It is a good size to carry stuff around town if you need. I usually only use the water bladder for hiking, and have it removed when riding my bike. In addition to the water bladder pocket it has a main pocket that runs the full size of the bag, a smaller pocket for things like your wallet or gloves, and a small pocket with soft cloth lining for glasses.
