Debuting at EICMA in 2013 but not produced until 2015, MV Agusta’s Tursimo Veloce 800 represented a big departure for the Italian firm known for their sportbikes. Built to compete in the adventure/sport touring market, the Turismo Veloce maintained it’s distinct MV good looks to go toe-to-toe with bikes like Ducati’s Multistrada, KTM’s 1190 Adventure, and Yamaha’s MT-09.

The engine was based on the 798cc, three-cylinder, F3 motor, but revamped focusing on torque instead of horse power, and ridability instead of race-ability. With a dry weight of just 421 lbs and four riding modes (rain, touring, sport, or custom), Visor Down said, “It feels compact and quick to change direction on winding curves.”
