2016 BMW R nineT – Classic Boxer, Pure Riding Experience

The BMW R nineT is one of those motorcycles that’s just as enjoyable cruising around town as it is spending a day exploring back roads. Powered by BMW’s iconic 1,170cc air/oil-cooled boxer twin, it has plenty of torque, a great exhaust note, and a lot of character without being difficult to ride.

My 2016 R nineT is pretty much stock and has been kept close to how BMW intended it. It has the classic roadster styling, exposed boxer engine, comfortable upright riding position, and that solid, planted feel BMW motorcycles are known for.

It’s a great choice if you’re visiting the area and want something with character, or if you’ve always wanted to experience an R nineT before buying one yourself.

Not so fine print: The bike does have a location tracker installed. Bike has a daily mileage limit of 150 miles. Additional mileage will be charged at $0.99 per mile. The bike is not to be taken to a track for racing. In case of evidence of track use, an additional $300 fee will be charged for post track use maintenance. Off-road use is prohibited without prior authorization (additional $75 for first day and $50 each additional day applies). If Bike is returned in excessively dirty condition a $75 fee will be charged for detail. If bike is returned with less gas than it was rented at, $25 fee will be charged for the gas station trip plus the cost of gas. If you plan on taking toll roads, please prepay tolls through the optional gear add-ons. If tolls are accrued during your trip, I will file for reimbursement request for the tolls accrued plus a $15 fee.
