🏍️ Motorcycle Rental Policies & Fees

Please review before booking. RentalPowersports fees and deposits are collected separately at check-in unless otherwise stated.

REQUIRED DAILY FEES & OFF-ROAD RULES

• Damage Waiver is $55/day.
• Cleaning Fee is $20 standard, $30 Adventure/Harley. Base covers normal use; excessive dirt, mud, sand, wet conditions, or authorized off-road use results in extra charges.
• Authorized off-road use is $30/day, requiring prior approval and a signed addendum. The off-road fee covers authorization only; maintenance, damage, repairs, towing, or extraction are separate.

Reservations have strictly NO OFF-ROAD USE unless approved.

OPTIONAL ADD-ONS

• Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI) is $20/day.
• Personal Accident/Effects Insurance (PAI/PEI) is $10/day.
• 24/7 Roadside Assistance is $15/day, including flat tires, fuel, jumps, and towing per terms. Off-road recovery/extraction is excluded.

ACCESSORIES & RENTAL EQUIPMENT

Panniers, top cases, phone mounts, adapters, and other rental accessories are available for an additional per-day rental fee, subject to availability.

DEPOSITS & FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Security deposit is $1,000 refundable. Not a liability limit; applied to amounts owed. Damage responsibility up to $2,500/incident; total loss or theft up to $3,000. Accessory rentals are separate. Aftermarket cases require a $100 deposit each; OEM cases require a $250 deposit each. Deposits are fully refundable if returned undamaged. Renter is liable for accessory loss or damage.

DAMAGE, HELMETS, & TIRES

• A non-refundable $250 Accident Inspection Fee applies if involved in an accident. Repairs, towing, and loss of use are separate. Post-return diagnosis may occur if dirt prevents a full counter inspection.
• Helmet rentals require a balaclava (bring yours or buy on-site for $10 to keep).
• Photos may not reflect current tires due to routine safety replacements. Contact us before booking if a specific tire model is required.

PAYMENT PROCESSING & DEPOSIT RETURNS

To comply with California guidelines, card fees are flat admin charges

Rental balances (waivers, cleaning, accessories, or options) are subject to a Commercial Fleet Booking Fee: 4.5% U.S. Cards or 6.5% International Cards.

Zelle has a $0.00 fee.

Card deposits include a Non-Refundable Deposit Processing Fee to cover network overhead.

• Standard ($1000 base): $1,045 total U.S. Card ($45 fee) or

$1,065 total Intl Card ($65 fee).

• OEM Top/ Pannier Case ($250 base): $261.25 total U.S. Card ($11.25 fee) or

$266.25 total Intl Card ($16.25 fee).

• Aftermarket Top/ Pannier Case ($100 base): $104.50 total U.S. Card ($4.50 fee) or

$106.50 total Intl Card ($6.50 fee).

• Zelle fee is $0.00.

Upon undamaged inspection, you are refunded the exact base deposit ($1,000 base, $250/OEM case, $100/aftermarket case). Card processing fees are strictly non-refundable (unless paid via Zelle, which has a $0.00 fee and is refunded flat).

Sunday, Monday & After-Hours

Special arrangements require advance approval and are subject to availability.

Sunday & Monday, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: $50

Seasonal Rate, November–January: $65

After-Hours Service: $50/hour

Late-Night Off-Site Return: $100 flat fee

After-hours, early-hour, Sunday/Monday, and other special scheduling fees are nonrefundable if the approved arrangement is canceled or changed.

Holiday Service

Holiday Pick-Up / Drop-Off Fee: $65

Service Window: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM only

Holiday service requires advance approval and is subject to availability.

Flight & Travel Delays

Your rental period begins at the scheduled reservation time, not your actual arrival time.

Flight delays, traffic, baggage delays, or other travel disruptions do not automatically extend the rental period. Schedule changes and extensions are subject to availability and applicable fees.

Payment & Deposits

Accepted methods include credit/debit card, Zelle, and other approved electronic payments.

Cash is not accepted for the security deposit at check-in. Any approved cash arrangement must be made and completed before the rental date.

Rider Requirements

Minimum age: 21+

Valid motorcycle endorsement or applicable international motorcycle license

Current license must be presented at check-in

Only authorized riders may operate the motorcycle

Additional experience requirements may apply depending on the motorcycle

Off-Road Authorization

Riders Share reservations are designated as NO OFF-ROAD USE unless approved by RentalPowersports in advance.

Authorized Off-Road Use: $30/day

Prior approval and a separate Off-Road Use Addendum & Liability Waiver are required. Additional cleaning, maintenance, damage, towing, recovery, extraction, and other applicable charges are separate.

If you would like to review your paperwork before check-in, we can email the applicable Rental Agreement and additional agreements so you may review, print, and sign them before arrival.
