Full Size Adult Motorcycle **2026 Yamaha WR125R – Safe, Fun Dual-Sport Adventure for Central Oregon!**

Looking for an approachable, reliable ride that delivers smiles on both pavement and dirt? My nearly new Yamaha WR125R is the perfect companion for exploring Central Oregon’s stunning backroads, forest trails, and high-desert landscapes around Bend, Redmond, Sisters, and beyond.

This lightweight dual-sport (curb weight ~304 lbs) features a smooth, fuel-injected 125cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It produces a manageable ~15 hp—plenty spirited for fun without being intimidating. The 6-speed transmission and torquey power delivery make it easy to handle whether you're cruising scenic highways like the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway or tackling light-to-moderate OHV trails.

**Safety first:**

Equipped with front ABS disc brakes for confident stopping power in varied conditions, high-quality KYB suspension (8.5" front / 7.3" rear travel) that soaks up bumps and ruts, and grippy Dunlop D605 dual-sport tires. The upright riding position gives excellent visibility and control, while the modest power output and low center of gravity make it forgiving for newer or cautious riders. Electric start, fuel injection, and reliable Yamaha build quality mean fewer worries on the road or trail.

**Pure fun in Central Oregon conditions:**

With ~94 mpg claimed efficiency and a 2.1-gallon tank, you get serious range for all-day adventures without frequent fuel stops—ideal for remote areas. The 21"/18" wheels and generous ground clearance (9.45") handle gravel roads, forest service paths, and mild single-track with ease. It's nimble and playful on twisty pavement yet capable enough for exploring the Deschutes National Forest or heading toward Mt. Bachelor area trails.

Whether you're a beginner building confidence, an experienced rider wanting a light and efficient second bike, or someone who just wants stress-free fun, this WR125R shines. It's street-legal, well-maintained, and ready for your next ride. Helmet and basic riding gear recommended (always ride within your skill level and local regulations).
