I'll be honest with you: this is NOT a "try electric because it's trendy" toy like you see kids riding in the bike lane. The VARG puts out 80hp and 660Nm at the crank — numbers that make 450 four-strokes look a little sleepy — but what you'll feel most is how it gets there. Zero power delivery lag, no clutch to manage through technical sections, just direct drive that lets you control throttle with a precision you can't get from an internal combustion engine. You feel every bit of traction the rear tire has, which makes it a genuinely better bike than most production bikes, not just a novelty.

At around 270 lbs it's lighter than most 450s, and that weight sits low and central — the bike holds a line in a way that takes people by surprise the first time they ride it. Multiple power maps and adjustable traction control mean you can run it mellow for tight single-track or open it all the way up for motocross — all adjustable from the dashboard phone device, no tuning, just a few taps.

The only real adaptation is charging discipline. This bike runs on battery, not gas, so you'll need access to power — a standard outlet OR a 15-30P— while you're out at the track or OHV park to top off between motos. It's not a dealbreaker, just something to plan for the way you'd plan fuel stops on any trip.

You will need to truck it or have it delivered, it cannot be ridden legally on the street. It is set up with supermoto wheels and tires for time at kart tracks in the area that allow it, but some places do not allow electric motorcycles period.
