ALL ELECTRIC! This Zero SR/F is a great ride. Acceleration is instantaneous and exceptional (0-60 in 4 sec). Very smooth and comfortable, NO shifting. Its 15.6KWH battery gives a range of 100-150 miles on a full charge (see details below). The top speed is nominally 124 mph, but I've set the max to 90mph for safety reasons. Just over 11,000 miles on it.

The Zero has 5 different driving modes including Standard, Eco, Sport, Rain, and Custom modes for different riding conditions. I have the Custom set to what I call "Eco Plus", which gives you most of the regeneration rate of Economy mode (meaning longer range), but faster acceleration and higher top speed.

The bike easily handles a passenger. If you're travelling solo, I have a small cargo net you can use to strap a tote or package to the passenger seat for some extra storage. The rear seat also covers two helmet lock loops. The front compartment will hold a small day pack, and has two standard USB-A ports. Other features include adjustable heated grips and cruise control.

Mileage range varies with driving -- it's about 100 miles of freeway driving on a full charge, or 140-150 on the street. The bike is charged via a standard (non-Tesla) J1772 connector, so can be charged from any level-2 non-Tesla charger. *NOTE* You cannot use chargers that do both DC Fast & Level 2 -- those adapters have extra pins so they won't plug in to the Zero. It takes about 2.5 hours for a full charge from empty using Level 2, or about 1% charge for each one-and-a-half minutes. I usually charge it at home, but I have charged it at EVgo and Flo stations.
