Daytona Bike Week 2026 Information - Will We See You There?

Last year during Bike Week, Main Street traffic backed up before noon on a random Tuesday, not because of a crash or a concert, but because a group of riders shut their bikes off in the middle of the block just to finish a conversation that started at a gas pump. That’s the pace the Daytona Beach motorcycle rally runs on, where plans stay loose, rides happen on impulse, and half your day gets shaped by whoever you end up parked next to.
Below, we’re covering the official 2026 dates, this year’s racing schedule, where riders actually spend their time during Bike Week, and how to line up a rental motorcycle if you’re flying into Daytona.
Here's what you need to know: Daytona Bike Week 2026 takes place February 27 through March 8 across Daytona Beach and Volusia County, with events spread throughout the area rather than limited to Main Street. The rally brings in around 500,000 people each year, so crowds build quickly once the first weekend hits. The two major race weekends are DAYTONA Supercross on February 28 and the DAYTONA 200 on March 7, both at Daytona International Speedway. Most venues are free to enter, and if you’re planning to catch the racing at the Speedway, tickets typically start around $45.
When is Daytona Bike Week 2026?

How Many People Attend Daytona Bike Week?
About 500,000 people come through Daytona Bike Week each year. For context, Daytona Beach has a population of around 60,000, so the rally basically turns a mid-sized Florida beach town into a temporary city almost 10 times its usual size. The economic impact reflects that too, with an estimated $100 million flowing into Volusia County during the 10 days.

What Events Happen at Daytona Bike Week?

Between the racing at Daytona International Speedway, the bike shows scattered across town, and live music at just about every bar, you could spend all 10 days here and still not see everything. Here's what's on the schedule for the 85th anniversary.
Annual Blessing of the Bikes
The Leather & Lace Motorcycle Club hosts their annual Blessing of the Bikes and free pancake breakfast on March 1 in Edgewater. Breakfast runs from 9:30 to 10:30am, with the blessing starting at 11:00am. It's become a Bike Week tradition for riders who want to start the rally right.
Racing at Daytona International Speedway
If racing is on your must-do list, plan at least one day around the Speedway. Tickets aren’t included with the rally itself, but pricing stays reasonable compared to other motorsports weekends, especially if you’re only going for one marquee event.
DAYTONA Supercross (February 28)
The 56th annual Daytona Supercross in 2026 is the only Florida stop on the schedule, which is why it pulls such a packed crowd every year. Ricky Carmichael has designed the course for 19 consecutive years, and the 2026 layout keeps the tunnel jump fans expect along with a stadium-style triple section. Racing runs under the lights, and the energy in the stands is on a completely different level once the gate drops.
DAYTONA 200 (March 5-7)
This is the race that started it all. The 84th running of the DAYTONA 200 (2026) comes with a $250,000 purse this year, which is a 43% increase from last year. The winner takes home $50,000 plus a Rolex Daytona watch, and for the first time since 2014, the race counts toward MotoAmerica Supersport Championship points. Practice and qualifying run Thursday and Friday, with the main event on Saturday.
King of the Baggers (March 5-7)
Harley Road Glides go head-to-head with Indian Challengers, and the racing is closer than you'd expect from bikes that size. The 2026 season opener at Daytona is a doubleheader with races on Friday and Saturday.
American Flat Track (March 5-6)
DAYTONA Short Track I and II run on Thursday and Friday nights. Flat track racing has a different feel than road racing, and seeing it back-to-back nights gives you a good look at how riders adapt to changing track conditions.
Other Racing Events
- Super Hooligan National Championship
- SC-Project Twins Cup
- Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross
- Sons of Speed vintage race
Bike Shows and Custom Builds
Custom bike competitions pop up at different venues throughout the week. The Full Throttle Custom Bike Show on the Boardwalk usually brings in a decent crowd, with categories covering everything from vintage restorations to ground-up custom builds. Even if you're not entering, walking through and seeing what people have built is a good way to spend an afternoon.
Demo Rides and Vendor Villages
The Motorcycle Marketplace at Daytona International Speedway is free and open to the public every day during Bike Week. Manufacturers set up booths with their 2026 lineups, and you can sign up for demo rides to test out new models. The vendor area also has parts, gear, and accessories if you're looking to pick something up.
Live Music
Bars throughout Daytona Beach book bands for the entire 10 days. Main Street, Iron Horse Saloon, and Destination Daytona all have stages running from afternoon into the night with a mix of rock, country, and Southern rock. You don't have to plan too far ahead for this one since you'll hear music pretty much everywhere you go.
Where to Hang Out During Bike Week
If you ask ten riders where they spent the most time during Bike Week, you’ll probably get ten different answers. These are the spots people keep circling back to.
Daytona Beach
- Main Street: The center of Bike Week where the street closes to cars at night and bikes line both sides. Bars include Boot Hill Saloon, Froggy's, Dirty Harry's, and Main Street Station, with vendors selling gear and leather in between.
Ormond Beach
- Iron Horse Saloon: 5 miles north of Main Street on US 1. Live music, Wall of Death stunt show, and Craiger's sirloin steak tips. Open since 1980.
- Broken Spoke Saloon: Across from Iron Horse on US 1 with its own vendor area and entertainment.
- Destination Daytona: 150-acre complex at US 1 and I-95 with Teddy Morse's Daytona Harley-Davidson, vendors, food, and free motorcycle parking.
New Smyrna Beach
- Cabbage Patch: Rustic spot that's been part of Bike Week for decades.
- Pub 44: Solid wings and Bloody Marys with a laid-back crowd.
- JB's Fish Camp: Seafood spot when you want a break from bar food.
