What happens if the renter exceeds the allowed mileage?

Owners can request a reimbursement in the Bookings section of the menu at the end of the trip. Riders Share does not automatically charge the renter for exceeding the mileage limits. We do not do this in case people make mistakes while reporting their mileage.

If the renter disputes the excess mileage request, Riders Share will review available evidence and determine if the mileage was exceeded or not. Please make sure to document the odometer before and after each trip to prevent disputes.
