This Triumph Scrambler 400X “Shadow” is one of the motorcycles used in Moto Recovery’s Wind Therapy Support Ride program. With the assistance of the bike’s owner, it is listed here through my account when it is not being used for those rides. Proceeds from rentals help support Moto Recovery’s Wind Therapy program, which focuses on rider well-being, confidence building, and community connection through small-group motorcycle experiences.

The black Scrambler 400X “Shadow” is built for riders who want a blend of rugged capability and classic scrambler style. Outfitted with Triumph’s lower front fender, aluminum sump guard, upper and lower crash bars, and SW-Motech ADV handguards, this bike is well protected and ready to handle both pavement and dirt with confidence. The Carbon Racing windshield adds wind protection and a sporty look, while the OEM 14-tooth front sprocket delivers smooth, predictable acceleration. A luggage rack and pannier racks provide plenty of mounting options for adventure gear, and the bike is equipped with a venting rider seat cover for comfort on longer rides. A USB-C charging port is available for devices (bring your own cable).

The bike runs Mitas E-07 tires, known for their excellent balance of on-road manners and off-road traction. “Shadow” has already proven its capability, having completed roughly 70% of the TransAmerica Trail before joining our fleet.

The rental includes a Givi 1L tank bag and a Kewig M26C anti-vibration phone mount for navigation. Additional Rhinowalk waterproof luggage is available as add-ons during checkout. Coming soon are additional luggage options including the Viking Bags Apex 7L tank bag, Viking Bags 40L tail bag, and a 1L handlebar bag for riders planning longer adventures.
