This Triumph Scrambler 400X is one of Moto Recovery’s Wind Therapy Support Ride motorcycles. The bikes used in that program are listed here on Riders Share through my personal account with the assistance of their owners. Proceeds from these rentals directly support the Moto Recovery Wind Therapy program, which focuses on rider well-being, confidence building, and community connection through small-group motorcycle experiences.

The Scrambler 400X itself is built for adventure, offering a blend of rugged durability and thoughtful upgrades. A Triumph upper front fender, aluminum sump guard, and both upper and lower crash bars provide added protection on rough terrain. Kewig K11 auxiliary lights (yellow fog / white spot) improve visibility for night riding, while the Carbon Racing windshield adds wind protection and a sporty look. SW-Motech adventure hand guards add another layer of protection.

For gear storage and convenience, the bike includes a Triumph luggage rack, a Viking Bags Adventure Division handlebar bag, and a USB-C power plug for charging devices on the go (bring your own cable). Additional luggage add-on options available at checkout for “Tomato” include the Viking Bags Apex 7L ADV tank bag (minus the hydration bladder) and the Odyssey 80L ADV touring luggage system.

The OEM Triumph 14-tooth front sprocket has been upgraded to the Speed 400’s 15-tooth, giving longer shift points while accelerating, smoother highway cruising, and impressive mid-90s mpg, all while maintaining strong low-end torque. The bike is currently equipped with the Shinko 804/805 tire combo (60% off-road / 40% on-road) for riders who want to explore beyond pavement.

For navigation, the bike includes a Kewig M26 anti-vibration phone mount to keep your phone secure and visible while riding. In place of the phone mount, a TomTom Rider 550 GPS is also available upon request.
