Below, you'll find everything you need to know about Arizona Bike Week 2025 dates, tickets, and what to expect.
What is Arizona Bike Week?
Arizona Bike Week started in the late ‘90s as a small gathering and has grown into one of the biggest motorcycle events in the country. Each year, it brings in thousands of riders, top-name bands, and some of the biggest brands in the industry. What started as a regional event has turned into a rally that attracts people from all over. Each year, organizers find ways to make it bigger, bringing in new entertainment, special attractions, and more opportunities for people to connect. With nearly three decades of history, it has become a major part of the motorcycle scene and attracts bigger crowds yearly.
What makes Arizona Bike Week one of the biggest motorcycle rallies in the U.S.?
More than 80,000 people attended last year’s Arizona Bike Week, and the turnout keeps growing. The massive concerts, high-energy stunt performances, and vendor areas packed with custom builds and gear bring in riders from all across the country. With a setup that puts everything in one place, attendees can spend the day checking out bikes, watching live performances, and meeting people from all over. The lineup of major bands and well-known industry guests also sets it apart, making it a rally that attracts both longtime riders and people new to the scene. With so much happening throughout the week, it’s easy to see why this has become one of the top motorcycle events in the U.S.

Campsite reservations are required, and additional parking fees may apply for extra vehicles.
Cancellation Policy- If you need to cancel your reservation, partial refunds are available depending on when the request is made. Best Rides & Day Trips to Take During Arizona Bike Week

Arizona Bike Week isn’t just about what happens at WestWorld. There are plenty of great roads nearby, and this is a perfect time to get out and ride. You can join one of the official group rides organized by Arizona Bike Week, or head out on your own and try some of the most popular routes in the area. Here are a few worth checking out:
- Bartlett Lake Ride: This route takes you through quiet desert roads before reaching Bartlett Lake. It’s a good option if you’re looking for a relaxed ride with a solid payoff at the end.
- Tortilla Flat & Apache Trail: A well-known ride that starts in Mesa and follows the Apache Trail to Tortilla Flat. The road has plenty of turns, and the town itself is a popular stop with a general store, restaurant, and a unique western-style atmosphere.
- South Mountain Park & Dobbins Lookout: A short ride that leads up to Dobbins Lookout, one of the best viewpoints in the area. The road climbs up the mountain with places to pull off along the way, and the view from the top stretches out over the entire city.
- Prescott & Yarnell Hill: A longer ride that takes you through small towns on the way up to Prescott. Yarnell Hill is a well-known part of this route, with a steady climb and a few turns that keep things interesting. Prescott itself is a good place to stop for food, and the cooler temperatures make this ride a nice break from the heat.
Rather Have a Local Lead the Ride?
If you'd rather spend the day riding than navigating unfamiliar desert roads, Riders Share offers guided motorcycle tours in Phoenix led by locals who know the best routes around Scottsdale and beyond. From the Apache Trail to Prescott, a guided ride lets you focus on the scenery and the curves while someone who's done these roads handles the route. It's a solid way to fill a morning or afternoon between Arizona Bike Week events.

Arizona Bike Week Safety & Riding Tips
Riding in Arizona can be a little different from other places, especially with the heat and long stretches of open road. Knowing the local laws and preparing for the desert climate will help keep you safe while out on the ride.
Arizona Motorcycle Laws
- Lane filtering is allowed in specific conditions, but lane splitting is not legal.
- Helmets are required for riders under 18 but recommended for everyone.
- Eye protection is required unless the motorcycle has a windscreen.
- At least one mirror must be on the motorcycle.
Staying Safe in Desert Riding Conditions
Riding in the desert means dealing with intense sun, dry air, and big temperature changes throughout the day. Staying hydrated is just as important as fueling up your bike, so drink water regularly instead of waiting until you feel thirsty. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and lightweight gear can help protect against sun exposure, and checking tire pressure and fluids before heading out is always a good idea. Once the sun goes down, temperatures can drop fast, so having an extra layer can make the ride back more comfortable.
