The Honda NC750X is a great platform for new riders and old alike. It's one of the easiest bikes to ride ever, with a digital dash showing you what gear you're in, easy clutch lever pull, and solid brakes. This bike has a manual transmission, NOT DCT. The twin makes a lot of torque down low in the revs and rides like a little diesel, allowing you to just twist the throttle to pass rather than dropping a gear and making all that noise. It sips fuel and averages over 60 mpg's even with spirited riding. The crazy storage space where the gas tank should be is super handy for rain gear, extra gloves, and even a couple of grocery bags, but it's designed to hold a full-face helmet even with go-pro mounts attached. As an add-on, I also have a GIVI Top Box if you need more storage. If you want this, please check the app and add that item to your rental. It's a super convenient way to carry extra stuff along with you without having the hassle and bulk of panniers and boxes. The NC750X is very rideable. Everything about the bike is smooth and easy. I've added a taller windshield get cleaner air at the helmet. It takes most of the freeway noise away so you can hear the wind (bike is so quiet you don't really hear the engine at highway speeds). I've added bark busters to protect your hands in the rain and the bike has a set of frame bar protectors in case of a low speed drop. This has LED high and low beams as well as the tail-light so you are easily seen as you ride. [JUST DID AN OIL CHANGE & PUT A NEW SET OF TIRES, A CHAIN, AND NEW SPROCKETS ON IT 10-6-2025]
