The Versys 300X is a fun bike, no matter what experience level you have. It's got a 300cc engine from a Ninja and six-speed gearbox and sounds like moto GP when you are getting groceries because of its 12,000 RPM redline. It's an extremely lightweight dual-sport that will pretty much go anywhere from the interstate to moderate gravel roads. This one was rescued from a barn in NC and has less than 7,000 miles on it. It has, an aftermarket Seat Concepts seat, cellphone mount, usb-c/b power on the dash, bark busters to protect your hands, and an extended windshield for keeping things on the quiet side at interstate speeds. It's a gas to ride, especially if you are more accustomed to bigger bikes. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver in a parking spot or in traffic. The 300X has a set of Shinko 705 dual sport tires which were put on at 4200 miles. There are two seat options for this bike, a standard seat or the high version from Seat Concepts so just let me know if you are really tall and I can make the change. I'd also added a GIVI top box plate, which allows you to carry groceries or 2 full-face helmets or whatever you like (GIVI Top-Box is an accessory that you can add to your rental if you choose). The bike has new LED headlamps, running lamps, and rear brake light that pulses 3x each time you touch the brakes and then stays lit. The LED bulbs are much better than what was stock and really light up the night if you plan to ride after dark. I keep up with maintenance and tire pressure on a weekly basis. Please note that I also have to other dual-sport bikes for rent here as well-- a 2018 Honda NC750X, a Honda CB500X, and a Honda NC700X as well, so it's possible to rent 2-4 bikes if you come with friends that also ride.
