Owner Appointment of a Manager
Owner can appoint a manager to carry out the duties the owner would have under our Terms of Service. We will create a Manager account for you, and you will need to complete some legal agreements for Owner to authorize the appointment of a Manager. This will require you to contact Riders Share. Here is what the process will require:
We will want to see that you have completed an Agency Agreement. We have a standard template that has been prepared which you can use.
We will need the person owner has chosen as a Manager to register an account with Riders Share, and we will have know that this is a Managed account.
As an Owner, if the jurisdiction you reside in requires it -- and also because it will allow your Manager to your behalf, we will need you to provide us with a Power of Attorney to show that your Manager can carry out their duties. You can provide us with a Power of Attorney you have completed or our legal team can source a template for you. Once you have completed a Manager agency agreement, your manager will be required to carry out all the duties and obligations of an Owner, as they are required in the Terms of Service.
